Welcome All!

I'm Jessica Johnson RN, BSN, MA, creator of Family Nest Wellness.

I'm a mother of a red-headed 6 year old, and 6 backyard chickens. I was born in the Ozarks and love exploring the outdoors. My hobbies include organic

gardening, making herbal potions, hiking, and I'm a sucker for most DIY crafts.

Below, I share my personal stories of healing and why I choose to bridge Western medicine with Functional Nutrition & Abdominal & Pelvic Therapy.

My Story

After 10 years of struggling with anxiety and severe panic attacks, seeing numerous practitioners, spending lots of money, and nearly losing hope, I finally found a Functional Medicine practitioner. Functional Nutrition & Lifestyle shifts helped me heal and regain joy and energy for my life. Wanting to help others regain their vitality, hope, and joy, I trained with the Functional Nutrition Alliance and am beyond honored to be a powerful advocate and educator for clients who now tell their own amazing healing stories.

I have personally experienced the healing touch of Abdominal Therapy, which helped me to conceive my own son after having multiple miscarriages and fertility issues. My personal experience, as well as a background in fertility nursing, have given me insight and compassion to walk alongside other people experiencing reproductive challenges. This is a powerful treatment that I have witnessed assist healing with many clients.
